When you purchase a Software Bisque software product, the price of the product is presented as two separate components:
- A one-year subscription fee.
- A one-time subscription sign up fee.
The total initial cost of the product is the sum of these two components.
Subscription Benefits
- Unrestricted download access the product’s full installer.
- Unrestricted download access to the latest product updates. Product updates include new features, product improvements, support for new devices (telescopes, cameras, focusers, filter wheels, etc., where applicable), bug fixes and other changes that are not part of the original software license.
- Unrestricted download access the latest daily builds.
Renewing the annual software subscription is optional. When the subscription expires, or you choose to cancel it, the software continues to operate normally. You can resubscribe later if you want (see below).
After the first year, to continue receiving the above benefits, you can optionally reactivate the subscription from your Software Bisque web account.
- The software and all software modules or “Add Ons” continue to function normally if you choose not to reactivate your subscription.
- The optional software modules do not require a separate subscription. For example, TheSkyX Professional Edition’s subscription renewal also applies to all software modules you have purchased, including the Camera module, Dome module, the TPoint module and other modules.
- Subscription reactivation is not an automatic process. You will be notified by email when your product subscription is about to expire. See Reactivate Your Subscription below for details how.
- There are no shipping costs associated with subscription reactivation.
- If the subscription is allowed to expire, you will no longer have downloadable access to the product’s installers. As Software Bisque is unable to provide access to older installers, if you plan not to reactivate, please save a backup copy of the installers and updates you download in case you want to re-install them later, for example, on a new computer.
Subscription Maintenance
Reactivating your Subscription
To reactivate your software subscription:
- Click My account > Log In.
- Click My account > My Subscriptions to view your current subscriptions.
- Click on the link to the subscription you wish to reactivate.
- Click Reactivate and follow the checkout process.
Cancelling the Subscription
- Click My account > Log In.
- Click My account > My Subscriptions to view your current subscriptions.
- Click on the link to the subscription you wish to resubscribe.
- Click Cancel.
Resubscribing to the Subscription
If your subscription has expired, you can resubscribe later:
- Click My account > Log In.
- Click My account > My Subscriptions to view your current subscriptions.
- Click on the link to the subscription you wish to resubscribe.
- Click Resubscribe and follow the checkout process.
After Reactivating or Resubscribing
After reactivating or renewing your subscription, you will receive an automated confirmation email and the subscription is active for another year.
Remember, after reactivating or resubscribing to your subscription, nothing physical (media, box or printed user guide) is shipped to you.
